Hello Readers!

Today, for the September birthstone book tag, we’ll be diving into the world of sapphire-colored book covers. I’ve always had a soft spot for sapphires, and the deep, moody blue hue never fails to captivate me. It’s a color that exudes mystery and elegance, and I can’t wait to share my thoughts with you.

As I’ve reviewed books, I’ve noticed that blue is a prevalent color in the mystery genre. I’ve often wondered if I’m simply drawn to the color, leading me to buy more books in blue, or if there’s an actual overrepresentation of blue in mystery book covers. It’s a question that I’ve been pondering lately.

Admittedly, I’ve found myself feeling a bit self-conscious about my penchant for reviewing books with blue covers. I’ve even made a conscious effort to diversify my reading choices by selecting books with different-colored covers. Do you ever find yourself overthinking your book cover choices? Let’s dive into the tag and explore my Sapphire book cover collection together!
